Well originally there was no connection, but Mary-Kate’s lawyer keeps combating the investigation and requesting immunity from prosecution for his client.

Seem guilty enough? How about dropping this in a statement:

“and the fact that Ms. Olsen does not know the source of the drugs Mr. Ledger consumed.”

Niiiice… isn’t that like when you were a kid, and you broke the peanut butter jar, and your mom comes in the room and says “Have you seen my shoes?” and you scream “Jeffy broke it!” and point at the crib your little brother is sleeping in?

It seems that Mary-Kate’s lawyer falls into this category of “Sucking Balls” or even “Didn’t Learn so Good in School”. As soon as the investigation into Ledger’s death opened up, the one curious issue about the whole thing is that Ledger’s masseuse called Mary-Kate Olsen after she found Ledger’s body; not the police, not a friend… the front desk… or even an ambulance… but Olsen.

Given this strange arrangement, the lawyer stepping up to the plate and lawyering by immediately filing a request of immunity from prosecution for his client otherwise she wouldn’t help out with the investigation was the same as walking into a room of starving dogs wearing nothing but BBQ sauce.

Anyway, good luck to Olsen on this one… she might want another lawyer. I think she’s worth like $1 Billion anyway.
