I can&#039;t believe that Handle Time was able to take something so frustrating as working as a front line agent and make it so hilarious! I hope you review it here, Katie. I read that stupid Indian book One night at the call centre. It was bad. It insulted Americans and so the Indians made it into a bestseller in their country. I hope all American call center agents read Lincoln&#039;s book so we can have our OWN call center bestseller.</description>

There are never less than 500 calls in queue, they KNOW that you have been on the phone for the last 45 minutes, they can only take one call at a time, and – contrary to popular belief – they WANT to solve your issue so you will get off their damn phone. I won’t even MENTION the “stats and numbers” that these poor saps have to meet on a daily basis. It’s so unfair.&quot;

I TOTALLY agree with you. In fact, I agree so much, that I wrote a book about this! It&#039;s called, HANDLE TiME by LiNCOLN PARK. It&#039;s freaking FUNNY -- but it deals with a serious issue about American call center reps who work day after day in these thankless jobs for pitiful wages with no chances for advancement.

I hope you get a chance to read HANDLE TiME. I wrote it for my new &#039;heroes&#039;  -- the 4 million Americans who have to check into those places and slap headsets on to get cussed out by their customers in one ear -- and cussed out by their managers in the other.</description>
